No fun
“Paleontology can then be done without ever having to go in the field, without ever having to touch those nasty, dirty old fossils, without having to hold them in your hand to measure them. So much cleaner and…. well – just plain scientific!
Just a computer – one would never have to leave one’s nice neat office – no field work, no books, no fossils….no fun.
And when science stops being fun, I will stop doing it.”
