Por exemplo, em <i>The Ace Spades Murder<\/i> [<i>O assassinato do \u00e1s de espada<\/i>], ele s\u00f3 apresenta o personagem culpado na antepen\u00faltima p\u00e1gina. Em <i>X. Jones of Scotland Yard<\/i>, ele explica na \u00faltima p\u00e1gina que Napole\u00e3o Bonaparte \u00e9 o acusado. <\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2012\/11\/facemansaturn.gif\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2011\/12\/facemansaturn.png\" width=\"137\" \/><\/a>E seus dons v\u00e3o al\u00e9m das tramas. Seus personagens tem nomes como <b>Criorcan Mulqueeny<\/b>,<b> Screamo, the Clown<\/b>; <b>Scientifico Greenlimb<\/b> e <b>Foxhart Cubycheck<\/b>. Ele tamb\u00e9m criou t\u00edtulos como <i><b>Finger, Finger!<\/b><\/i> [<i>Dedo, dedo!<\/i>], <i><b>The Yellow Zuri<\/b><\/i> [<i>O Zuri Amarelo<\/i>], <i><b>I Killed Lincoln at 10:13!<\/b><\/i> [<i>Eu matei Lincoln \u00e0s 10h13!<\/i>] e <i><b>The Face of The Man from Saturn<\/b><\/i> [<i>A Face do Homem de Sarurno<\/i>, \u00e0 dir.]. Mesmo em termos de prosa pura e simples ele parece inteiramente perdido. Eis a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o de um excerto de <i><b>The Case of 16 Beans<\/b><\/i> [<i>O caso dos 16 feij\u00f5es<\/i>]: <\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div align=\"justify\">A porta agora se abriu revelando, como deveria, uma estranha figura \u2014 um meio-homem, nada menos, sentado numa carro\u00e7a com rodinhas! \u2014 enquadrada contra um peda\u00e7o do outro lado do corredor. Mas n\u00e3o era um meio-homem ordin\u00e1rio este, pois ele era um chin\u00eas. Ali\u00e1s, um tanto perneta, at\u00e9 a presen\u00e7a do toco de perna superior. Mas era amplamente dotado de locomo\u00e7\u00e3o, do tipo deslizante, de alguma forma, na forma de incomumente generosas rodas emborrachadas sob a plataforma da carro\u00e7a. <\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div align=\"justify\">Hoje h\u00e1 at\u00e9 mesmo uma sociedade de apreciadores de sua obra, o que \u00e9 uma sorte pois a maioria das obras de Keeler est\u00e3o esgotadas. Em 1942 o <i><b>New York Times<\/b><\/i> escreveu sobre ele: <i>&#8220;Somos levados \u00e0 inescap\u00e1vel conclus\u00e3o de que Mr. Keeler escreve suas novelas peculiares meramente para satisfazer sua pr\u00f3pria urg\u00eancia indisciplinada e alegria criativa.&#8221;<\/i><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\"><i><span style=\"font-size: x-small\"><b>PS:<\/b> estou traduzindo um interessante conto de Keeler, chamado John Jones&#8217; Dollar.
