Esse pode ser um bom trava-l\u00ednguas ou jogo de palavras bem <em>nerd<\/em>, mas ser\u00e1 poss\u00edvel tornar vis\u00edvel a <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Radia\u00e7\u00e3o_infravermelha\">luz infravermelha<\/a>? A resposta \u00e9 sim, desde que se use como desinfravermelhizador um composto qu\u00edmico rec\u00e9m-descoberto numa universidade alem\u00e3.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Num laborat\u00f3rio da Philipps-Universit\u00e4t em Marburg, uma equipe chefiada pelo Dr. Nils Wilhelm Rosemann criou um composto de estrutura diamant\u00f3ide baseado em estanho e enxofre. Em artigo publicado na edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 10 de junho da <em>Science<\/em>, Rosemann e seus colaboradores descreveram o composto chamado [(RdelocSn)4S6](Rdeloc=4\u2013(CH2=CH)\u2013C6H4) como um p\u00f3 fino e amorfo, n\u00e3o-vol\u00e1til e termicamente est\u00e1vel at\u00e9 os 300\u00ba.C.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;font-size: medium\"><em>Wibbly-wobbly lighty-whitey stuff<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">O t\u00edtulo do artigo descreve a mol\u00e9cula encontrada como \u201cum emissor de luz branca molecular, altamente eficiente e direcional, alimentado por um laser diodo de onda cont\u00ednua\u201d. Na falta de um nome melhor, a subst\u00e2ncia de nome impronunci\u00e1vel bem poderia ser chamada de mol\u00e9cula desinfravermelhizadora (que ainda \u00e9 um nome comprido mas pelo menos d\u00e1 pra dizer).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Podemos cham\u00e1-la assim por sua propriedade \u00f3ptica: quando um <em>laser<\/em> de infravermelho pr\u00f3ximo passa pelo composto, a estrutura da mol\u00e9cula altera o comprimento de onda da luz por meio de uma intera\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o-linear. Do outro lado da mol\u00e9cula o que sai s\u00e3o ondas de luz vis\u00edveis ao olho humano.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u201cA parte vis\u00edvel do espectro se parece com a cor de uma <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/L\u00e2mpada_de_halog\u00eaneo\">l\u00e2mpada hal\u00f3gena<\/a> de tungst\u00eanio a 2900 Kelvin\u201d, esclareceram os pesquisadores em comunicado publicado pelo <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sci-news.com\/othersciences\/chemistry\/compound-transform-infrared-visible-light-03940.html\">Sci-News<\/a><\/em>. Ainda segundo os cientistas a luz desinfravermelhizada tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 \u201cextremamente direcional, uma qualidade desej\u00e1vel para dispositivos como microsc\u00f3pios, que exigem\u00a0uma alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o espacial\u201d ou para sistemas como projetores.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Apesar do nome impronunci\u00e1vel, a subst\u00e2ncia desinfravermelhizadora pode ter aplica\u00e7\u00f5es em curt\u00edssimo prazo pois seus ingredientes s\u00e3o baratos e facilmente acess\u00edveis.
