N\u00e3o demorou muito para as pesquisas mostrarem que o sistema formado pelos planetas <em>b<\/em>, <em>c<\/em>, <em>d<\/em>, <em>e<\/em>, <em>f<\/em> e <em>g<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/2017\/04\/trappist-1-is-a-trap\/\">seria pouco amig\u00e1vel<\/a> gra\u00e7as \u00e0 instabilidade de seu astro-rei pequeno, avermelhado e hiperativo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Mesmo que tenham campos magn\u00e9ticos capazes de proteg\u00ea-los das tempestades solares de TRAPPIST-1, os planetas daquele sistema situado a 39 anos-luz daqui t\u00eam outro problema: sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o. Observa\u00e7\u00f5es feitas pelo m\u00e9todo de tr\u00e2nsito determinaram seus di\u00e2metros e suas massas. Com base nessas informa\u00e7\u00f5es, cientistas das Universidades do Estado do Arizona (ASU) e Vanderbilt (VU), ambas nos EUA, fizeram modelagens computacionais para estimar do que seriam formados os famosos sete planetinhas.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2018\/04\/1-trappist1pla.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor;margin-right: auto;margin-left: auto;float: none\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2018\/04\/1-trappist1pla_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"1-trappist1pla\" width=\"600\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Em termos de escala, TRAPPIST-1 situa-se entre o sistema jupiteriano (acima) e a \u00f3rbita de Merc\u00fario (abaixo). Do que seriam feitos os sete planetas de um sistema t\u00e3o compacto?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">Embora tenham sido classificados como rochosos e tenham mais ou menos o tamanho da Terra, isso n\u00e3o significa que aqueles mundos sejam como o nosso. Eles poderiam ser bolas de gelo e \u00e1gua, parecidos com Europa, a lua de J\u00fapiter (que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 alvo de muitas especula\u00e7\u00f5es sobre sua habitabilidade). Parece ser esse o caso dos planetas que cercam TRAPPIST-1, segundo a pesquisa publicada em 19\/03 na<em> Nature Astronomy \u2014 <\/em>o artigo foi assinado por Cayman T. Unterborn, Steven J. Desch, Alejandro Lorenzo (ASU) e Natalie R. Hinkel (VU).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Na verdade, esses planetas estariam mais para super-Europas. De acordo com os modelos de Unterborn <em>et. al.<\/em>, tais mundos teriam \u00e1gua em sua composi\u00e7\u00e3o. Dependendo do planeta, de 10% a 50% em massa seria somente \u00e1gua. Por compara\u00e7\u00e3o, o nosso Planeta \u00c1gua tem meros 0,2% de H2O em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 massa total. \u00c9 muita, muita, muita \u00e1gua, equivalente a centenas de oceanos terrestres.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 469px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2018\/04\/trappist1pla.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor;margin-right: auto;margin-left: auto;float: none\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com.br\/hypercubic\/files\/2018\/04\/trappist1pla_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"trappist1pla\" width=\"469\" height=\"479\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Perfil da crosta de Trappist-1f, que d\u00e1 ind\u00edcios de ter um oceano raso sobre duas camadas de gelo duro feito rocha. Abaixo da massa aquosa, ficaria um material semelhante ao manto e um n\u00facleo de ferro l\u00edquido, uma configura\u00e7\u00e3o interna parecida com a da Terra.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4 align=\"justify\">Choque de gelo<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">Se voc\u00ea achou que isso seria uma boa not\u00edcia para a habitabilidade de TRAPPIST-1, achou errado, ot\u00e1rio. H\u00e1 tanta \u00e1gua naqueles planetas que nem sobra espa\u00e7o pra terra. Tamanha massa aquosa seria capaz de formar duas camadas diferentes de gelo sob um mar raso \u2014 gelos do <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.lsbu.ac.uk\/water\/ice_vi.html\">tipo VI<\/a> e <a href=\"http:\/\/www1.lsbu.ac.uk\/water\/ice_vii.html\">VII<\/a>, formados por compress\u00e3o. Com milhares de quil\u00f4metros de espessura, essa imensa camada congelada impede a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de rochas como as terrestres. Sem rochas expostas, n\u00e3o tem como ocorrer as rea\u00e7\u00f5es geoqu\u00edmicas que facilitam o surgimento da vida (ao menos da vida como a conhecemos).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Al\u00e9m de afogar quaisquer possibilidades de vida, todo esse gelo e \u00e1gua tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o ind\u00edcios de como nasceram os planetas do sistema TRAPPIST-1. Apesar de estarem todos dentro da chamada linha de neve \u2014 a zona dentro da qual podem se formar \u00e1gua e gelo \u2014, o grau de umidade desses planetas varia bastante. Segundo os modelos desenvolvidos, os planetas mais ricos em \u00e1gua \u2014 <em>f<\/em> e <em>g<\/em> \u2014 teriam se formado al\u00e9m da linha de neve, migrando posteriormente para suas atuais posi\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">As implica\u00e7\u00f5es dessas descobertas podem ser profundas, especialmente se forem confirmadas em outros sistemas semelhantes.
